FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many treatments should I do?
We recommend 5-10 treatments in close succession (separated by 1-2 days) to maximize your results. After that, you can slow to once every week or two weeks to maintain and improve your results.
Can I float and cryo in the same day?
Absolutely and we highly recommend it! You'll start by boosting your energy with cryotherapy and end with the float, leaving you feeling zen and relaxed.
Is it safe?
Yes. A FREE TEAM member will be with you the whole time and you’ll be breathing normal room-air with oxygen. In addition, there are oxygen sensors to make sure everything is working properly.
How cold will it get? Is it painful?
Our beginner level is -165 and the coldest setting is -220, but it sounds much colder than it feels. Most people exit with a huge smile on thier face. You'll choose your music so you can dance around and the 3 minutes go by fast. If you find yourself too cold, you can get out at any time, but it rarely happens.
How will I feel after the session?
During each session the body releases endorphins, which are hormones that make you feel good and energetic. The mood-enhancing effects from each session can last for days.
What do I wear during the session?
We’ll provide you with a robe and you can undress in the chamber. Under the robe, you’ll be wearing dry socks with slippers, gloves and underwear (all jewelry must be removed and women must avoid bras with metal wire). One of our team members will ensure you are wearing proper attire.
Do I have to shower before or after?
No, you don’t. This procedure is absolutely dry and does not make your skin wet.
Who should not use cryotherapy?
The following conditions are contraindications to whole body cryotherapy: Pregnancy, severe Hypertension (BP> 160/100), acute or recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, arrhythmia, symptomatic cardiovascular disease, cardiac pacemaker, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, venous thrombosis, acute or recent cerebrovascular accident, uncontrolled seizures, Raynaud’s Syndrome, fever, tumor disease, symptomatic lung disorders, bleeding disorders, severe anemia, infection, claustrophobia, cold allergy, age less than 18 years (parental consent to treatment needed), acute kidney and urinary tract diseases.
